moses 5

The King says No! Exodus 5:1-9

     Moses walked right up to the king and said, God say let His people go.

     The king said ''I don't know your God. Why should I obey Him? These people have work to do. They cannot leave.''

     Then the king made the people work even harder. What a mean man!

     This made the Israelite leaders angry with Moses.

               A Mistake? Exodus 5:19 Exodus 6:9

     The Israelite leaders were angry.

     They thought Moses had surely made a big mistake. ''You made the king hate us,'' they said.

     Moses  talked to God. ''Lord, why have You brought this trouble on the people? Is this why? You sent me here?'' God answered, ''You will see what I will do to the king.''
