Journal 62 Review verses from the Bible in October

Here are review verses from the Bible in October:

  • You shall not misuse name of the Lord your God. Misuse: use your name in wrong way. Respect the Lord's name.

  • Before the world began, there was Word. The Word was with God. The Word was God.

  • You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. The sentence mean is Do not tell lie to people. Tell people the truth.

  • In the beginning God created heavens and earth.

  • God created people in His image. In His image God made them male and female.

  • Evil cannot tempt God. God himself does not tempt anyone.

  • God who does not lie.

  • God is spirit. Those who worship God must worship Him in spirit and truth.

  • I (Jesus Christ) and the Father are one.

  • He strengthen those who are weak and tired.

  • Ears that hear and eyes that see. The Lord has made them both.

  • Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

  • Jesus replied the criminal, "I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise." Criminal: people who break the law. Two bad men who crucified with Jesus. One criminal was Jesus' right side. One other criminal was Jesus' left side. Assure: promise. Paradise: heaven.

  • You should meet together and encourage each others.

  • Be patient with everyone.

  • Love one another. You must love one another as I (Jesus) have loved you.

  • Christ died for us while we were sinners. In this way God shows His great love for us.

I hope you remember verses from the Bible what you learned in October.
