  Abraham made his home in a land called Haran. He was a simple man. He lived in a tent and tended sheep and cattle. Abraham believed to God and God blessed Abraham. Abraham left his homeland. He took his wife Sarah his nephew Lot and all of the people in their household. In addition, Abraham went to the land of Canaan. Abraham moved his tent to live near the great trees of Mamre at  Hebron.
