Journal 33 Review in September

Review what you learned lessons in September:



Who is Jesus?

Jesus is Son of God. He is Lamb of God. Jesus died on the cross. He rose from the death. There is no sin in Jesus. Jesus is holy and perfect.







What the Bible says about judge?

The Bible says Do not judge each others. You will not be judged. You will be judged in the same way you will judge each others.







Who is God?

God is spirit. Those who worship God, must worship God in spirit and truth. God is holy and perfect. He never makes mistakes. On seventh day God rested from His work. God never changes. He never changes His mind. God doesn't old. He created us in His own image. God knows everything. He is everywhere.







Who were Cain and Abel?

Cain and Abel were sons of Adam and Eve. Cain worked crops. Abel took care of sheep. They decided to offering the Lord. The Lord accepted Abel and his offering because Abel trusted in the Lord. However, The Lord didn't accept Cain and his offering because Cain was too proud. Cain was angery. He refused listen to the Lord. Cain murdered his brother Abel. He ran away from the Lord. He went to Nod, east of Eden.






Who was King Ahab?

Ahab was bad king because he hated God. King Ahab worshipped idol called Baal. God was angery because King Ahab worshipped idol. An idol is false gods.





Who was Elijah?

Elijah was God's prophet. God sent his prophet Elijah to see King Ahab. Elijah prayed to God for no rain. Few years there was no rain to banish King Ahab.





What is the difference between Wise and Foolish building house?

A wise man who built house on rock. When rain and wind came river flooded the house didn't fall because a wise obeyed to the Lord. However, Foolish man who built house on sand. When rain and wind came river flooded the house fell down and destroyed because a foolish man disobeyed to the Lord.



Who was Judas Iscariot?

Judas Iscariot was one of twelve disciples of Jesus. He loved more money than Jesus. He betrayed Jesus. Judas Iscariot went to temple. He threw coins and left temple. Judas Iscariot hanged himself.



Who were Martha and Mary?
Jesus and his twelve disciples went to Bethany where Martha lived. Martha's sister was Mary. Mary liked to sit and listen to Jesus' teaching. Martha was busy preparing meal. She was upset. Jesus told Martha that she worried about things; however, only one is needed.

What is the difference between Tax Collector and the Pharisee?
Two men went to temple to pray. One man was the Pharisee. Another one man was the Tax Collector. The Pharisee prayed to the Lord, "I thank for not greedy and not dishonest. I thank for nothing." However, Tax Collector prayed to the Lord, "Mercy on me. I am a sinner." The Lord accepted the Tax Collector because The Tax Collector was humble. However, The Lord didn't accept the Pharisee because The Pharisee was proud.

What is Sin?
We know that God hates sin. Disobedience is sin against God. All of us are like Adam and Eve. The snake was Satan. The snake tempted Eve to eat fruit. Eve ate it. She gave her husband Adam some fruit. Adam ate it. Adam and Eve disobeyed the Lord. The Lord banished Adam and Eve. The Lord sent Adam and Eve out garden of Eden. Adam and Eve had to work hard, as today we have to work hard. The truth is Bible says All us are sinners. We can be tempted things, which is wrong. The Bible says All people have sinned and are not enough for God's glory. Sin is most terrible thing. Sin is serious thing. God is displeased (unhappy) every time you sin. We can ask God for forgive our sins.
