Sinners are at enmity with God whose name is holy and reverend As omnipotence is the power of God's attributes holiness is their beautify.  Holiness is self affirming purity. God's omnipotence declares Him mighty and His holiness declares Him glorious.

Gold is very very beautiful. Maybe you have seen jewels like sapphires and amethysts or pictures of the John said that the streets of the city were made of pure gold. The gold was as clear as glass. John also said that the walls of the city had every kind of Jewel in them.

Wise Choice

So God said, Solomon Since you have asked for this I will give you wise and discerning heart so that there will never have been anyone like you will there ever be. God told King Solomon to ask  for anything he wanted  to be a good leader for his people so he asked God to make him wise.

Love must be sincere
Although we may doubt the sincerity of people's love we need doubt the sincerity  of God's love for us. In addition, love compelled Him to come to the world in the person of Jesus Christ and suffer and die on our behalf.

God saved us and made us his holy people us his because of anything we did ourselves but because of what he wanted and because  of his grace. That grace was given to us through Christ Jesus before time begin. Christ carried our sins in his body on the cross.
