David wasn't afraid of Goliath. He gathered five smooth small stones and put them in his pouch 

Then with his slingshot in one hand.

David went to meet Goliath. 

The giant laughed when he saw that David was just a boy. But David shot a stone from the slingshot It hit Goliath in the head and killed him.
