Dear God I know that same people do while they are obeying You. But that just means they are with you sooner and that's a good things Help me to be brave enough to obey no matter what you ask thank you for my family my friends for so horses and puppies Thank you for mountains and oceans Thank you for sunrises and sunsets for rainbows and thunderclouds just Thank you amen
April 29-30 1
I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your saints but the Lord said to Ananias Would God send you into a dangerous situation If something He asked you to do scared you silly would He still want you to do it Yeah because He can see a much bigger picture than you can In this story from Acts 9 God told Ananias to go talk to Saul All the Jews knew Saul he tortured and Persecuted them to get them to deny Jesus. Ananias was more than a little scared But God said Go because He knew that Saul had changed and was now a follower of Christ The safest place to be the place where you are obeying God. Praise the greatness of our God He is the Rock His works are perfect and all His ways are just. Does it seem kind of funny to be commanded to praise God Well sometimes people get so caught up in their problems that they forget how in their lives and they forget that His works are perfect. Take your focus off your problems and think about God is All they see are the imperfections in their lives and they forget that His works are perfect. Take your focus off yourself and your problems and think about God Remember the accounts in the Bible of how His people. Remember the ways He takes cares of you. Think about His Creation from a tiny flowers to mountains canyon and oceans God is amazing Remember to praise Him for His perfect works and just ways.
April 28
Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace. A little trickle of water running across a rock seems pretty harmless doesn't it. Yeah but if that trickle runs constantly day after day after pretty soon there is a Grand Canyon worn into the rock persistent water. That's the way gossip can break down the unity of God family Just a little word here or a comment us not to let that happen Make every effort to keep God's family united and powerful Obeying this command means watching every idle comment you are tempted to make even if it funny if i break the unity it's a no no. Dear God I like making my friend laugh but what I say so that no one is hurt by word. Amen.
April 27
By faith Abraham when called to go a place he would later revives as his inheritance obeyed and went even though he did not where he was going. A gymnast does amazing tricks on the uneven bars then for her dismount swings high into the air twists and flips and does a blind landing she can't see the floor until her feet touch it Abraham had a landing when God told him to pack up everything and start traveling He moved his family servant animals and belonging but God didn't tell Abraham where he was going Abraham obeyed because He trusted God He knew that would direct his path Whew That's obedience It's hard enough to obey God when you can see where He's leading you. Can you trust him enough to have a blind landing You should remember nothing is unknown to God he knows exactly where you're going. Dear God help me to trust You as much as Abraham did I want to be that obedience Amen.
April 26 This is love that are we walk in obedience to His commands As you have heard from the beginning His command is that you walk in love. When you roll out of bed in the morning do you have to stop and think. Right foot down left foot down Right foot forward Left foot forward Nope walking comes naturally and you do it without even thinking Maybe that's the point of this verse walking in loving without having to think about it. When You have a difference with another person settle it immediately in love When you meet someone you don't really like look for things you can appreciate about her Walk in love everywhere you walk everywhere you go be filled with love. Dear God that sounds easy but it isn't always I guess that why you had to make is a command Help me walk in love Amen
April 25
Love the Lord your God listen to His twice and hold fast to Him. The best part of a sandwich cookie is right middle The important part of this too Be quiet and listen That's because you know should love God and you know you should hold on Him even if you don't always know how to do that But being quiet so you can hear Him-that's tough sometimes.
In this noisy busy world it isn't easy to make yourself sit down for 15 or 30 minutes and just be quiet no talking no music nothing But if you don't get still how ever hear God speak He won't fight through the noise He wants you to make the effort Choose a Scriptures verse be still and think about it and listen for God to speak. Dear God please help me with this I want to learn to be still I want to learn to You Amen.

April 24
Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. Watch a small tree some time when the wind is blowing super hard see how it bends under the pressure of the wind blowing through it. The young tree may bend nearly double in the wind but it doesn't break and it doesn't blow away. It stands firm and is made stronger by that exercise of blowing and bending stand firm Obeying God means standing firm even when you don't see how God can possibly save you or protect you from whatever you're facing. The Scripture verse from Exodus is what Moses said to the Israelites just before God parted the waters of the Red Sea to save them You just never know what God is going to do for you so stand firm. Dear God wow it takes a lot of faith to stand firm but I want to help me obey and stand firm Amen.
