April 14-15  1 Dear God it's easy to love my friends and family but some people aren't very lovable will you help me to love other people Thanks Amen. We must obey rather than men. Bombarded is exactly the right word what the world is doing to you. It's shouting things at you about what it  thinks is right. The world yells that being initiate before marriage is okay in fact detestable God says it isn't. The world says that drugs drinking or  smoking make you cool God says it doesn't The world judge success by how much you have God doesn't Don't get caught up in the world's messages Pay attention to God only obey Him even when the world is shouting something else in your ears. Dear God this is hard now and I know it's just going to get harder as I get older  Help me to pay attention to You and not the message I get from everywhere else Amen. Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord Noah was a righteous man blameless among the people of his time and he walked with God. Obedience pays It sure did in Noah's case Noah lived for God and obeyed him That paid off when God got fed up with the way the rest of the people were not obeying Him and decided to wipe them out with a flood Noah obeyed God even when everyone around him didn't They probably poked fun at Noah for his lifestyle But he kept on obeying God saved Noah and his family and they were the people who had Children to repopulate the earth. So Noah is like your great great great you get the idea grandfather Anyway don't ever think that your obedience goes unnoticed God pay attention to that kind of stuff. Dear God it's good to know that You notice that I try to live for You even when people around me don't Amen.

Love your neighbor as yourself.
There just isn't any way to live life of obedience to God if you're not loving other people. There also isn't any way pick and choose which people to love and which people to love them all. How do you love your neighbor as yourself you don't spread rumors about yourself you do everything you can to help yourself with problems and jobs Do those things for your neighbor Who you may ask  are your neighbor Remember the story of the Good Samaritan Read it in LUKE 10 Jesus said that   any person you may bump into who has a need is your neighbor even if it's someone you've never met. Even if it's someone who is way different from you Show that person love. 

April 12

April 12 Children obey your parents in everything for this pleases the Lord. Obey does it seem like that's all you hear Does it sometimes seem like your parents have a zillion rules that are made just to spoil your fun Do you ever feel like your parents have forgotten what it feels like to be a kid You can bet they haven't. In fact it's probably because they do remember that they have made some of those rules. They know life is full of temptation they know that sometimes you  don't see the big picture when you make certain choices. So until you're more mature and can handle some of things life throws at you they help out with rules Obey them without throwing a fit every time their rules are for your own good. Dear God you're going to help me with this. Obeying is not one of my best things just help me to obey without complaining Thanks Amen. I am good Shepherd. Jesus said.

You shall not covet your neighbor's house or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

God knows that coveting which means really wanting something that someone else has only leads to problems When you can't stop thinking about that thing you will start wanting it more and more. Pretty soon you'll be jealous of  the person who has that thing. Then you'll start to dislike them You may even end up trying to steal it and hurt the owner in the process.

Be happy with what you have. If there is something more you want get job save your money and buy it for yourself Simple Huh?

Dear God some of my friends have nicer stuff than I do. It's hard to not want those things too but help me to stay away from covering I don't want my friendship to be wrecked by covering. Amen.

You shall not steal. It's such a temptation sometimes isn't it. You're in a crowded store browsing through the CDs it would be so easy to slip one into your pocket who would   notice it's almost a thrill to see if you could get away with it. Some people even think they aren't guilty of stealing unless they get caught God thinks differently. 

When you take something that doesn't belong to the rightful owner is hurt by the loss. Stealing from a store comes back to hurt everyone in the long run because prices of products go to pay stolen items You surely don't want anyone to steal from you so don't steal from them. This is God's plan of how to live together in world Not a bad idea.  

Dear God stealing stinks please help me to never to be tempted especially by my friends who may have things I wants and can't afford Thanks Amen.

People  and animals lived and worked together.
Animals were not usually kept as
pets in the new testament there 
is one reference to smalls and dogs under a table which could be pet dogs And
in the Old testament we can read about a pet lamb.
